Bastion have been established for over 40 years.
We specialise in three areas of manufacture and supply.
1. We pultrude epoxy bonded ECR glassfibre roving reinforced rods and sections from 1.5mm diameter to 63.5 diameter, as well as profiles such as square, rectangles, segments and we supply such products to many parts of the world.
In addition, we convert our rods into support, tension, or tie rods by either crimping or bonding ending fittings made from stainless steel, aluminium, brass or galvanised steel.
Such tie rods can be up to 15m long wih rod diameters from 1.5mm diameter to 30mm diameter depending upon the ultimate tensile failure loads on the crimped or bonded joints in application.
2. We specialise in the machining of all industrial plastics, industrial laminates and composite materials in our CNC machine shop.
We offer prototype engineering and involve ourselves in client product design. We specialise in the manufacture of intricate and precision components and the assembly of such parts into clients' finished products.
3. We stock a large range of industrial plastics, e.g Nylon, Acetal, PTFE, Polyethylene, Polypropylene and many more types.
We own the following plastic domains which we intend to develop to promote our services.
We also stock a large range of industrial laminates, e.g. Tufnol, Paxolin, Bakelite etc, as well as Epoxy Glasscloth laminates from 0.10mm thick to 100mm thick.
All materials can be purchased in sheet, rod or tube form. We can supply in billets or panel sizes to suit customer requirements in quantities of 1 off to 1,000 off or more.
